My Sony VAIO desktop was made in 2003. It still works great, but the video card which came with it can't drive my new 24" monitor at full resolution. The VisionTek card works great and has no problem with 1920x1200. On top of that, it also feels faster, though since I don't play many games that is hard to judge.Noteworthy is that my card arrived with two DVI ports and an SVideo port -- which doesn't match the picture (VGA/SVideo/DVI). That wasn't an issue in my case. If it's an issue for you, I suspect you'll be able to find someone who can share a spare DVI-to-VGA adapter. Also, note that you need an extra 4-pin drive power connector (molex) to provide enough power for the card. Luckily I had a spare splitter and the card is sharing with one of my hard drives.

My computer is 12 years old. So, some games are slow or don't work. Websites with 3D graphics or websites with OpenGL no works. I bought this graphics card and now, it's working allright. I can play that's games or use my browser with OpenGL.It's easy to install and use. My computer is now on another level.
